Dr. Kade Huntsman, MD

Dr. Kade Huntsman has spent more than two decades refining how spine surgery is done, in his own operating room and in the operating rooms of his peers around the world.
About our founder, Dr. Huntsman →Dr. Huntsman specializes in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery of the neck and back, including athletic injuries of the spine. He has served as Chief of Surgery at St. Mark's Hospital, leading a spine surgery program consistently ranked nationally for excellence. He has served as President of the Utah State Orthopedic Society and is active in the national and international spine community, as well as the local one.
His team is deeply involved in research and development: better surgical techniques, better implants, motion preservation, and bringing technology from the tech industry into the operating room. He has helped advance intraoperative imaging, spinal surgery robotics, and neuromonitoring. These tools support surgical planning and procedures; the appropriate approach depends on each patient’s evaluation.
His team provides conservative and surgical approaches to sports injuries, degenerative conditions, complex reconstruction such as scoliosis, and motion-preserving procedures including cervical and lumbar disc replacement. It includes physical therapists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians, pain and injection physicians, and the nurses and staff at St. Mark's Hospital.
Dr. Huntsman is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and belongs to several national and international organizations, where he often speaks about advancing spinal surgery. He also teaches fellow surgeons and colleagues about advances in spine surgery.
