Dr. Jordan Kump is a board-certified orthopaedic spine surgeon and Salt Lake City native who is proud to be back home in Utah, caring for the community where he grew up. He pairs advanced surgical expertise with a personal approach built on listening, clear communication, and understanding what matters most to each patient.
His approach to your care
He believes excellent spine care starts with understanding the person, not just the imaging. He takes time to learn how symptoms affect each patient's life, what they have already tried, and what they want to get back to. Together they work through surgical and non-surgical options, including the expected benefits, limits, risks, and recovery.
Clinical experience
Dr. Kump treats conditions throughout the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine, from common causes of neck and back pain to complex deformities and revision surgery. His expertise includes cervical and lumbar artificial disc replacement, motion-preserving surgery, decompression and fusion, and complex spinal reconstruction, using minimally invasive techniques whenever possible.

He and his wife, Erin, are raising their three children close to their Utah roots. Outside of work he hikes, wakeboards, snowboards, and lifts, and he is usually the dad cheering a little too hard at soccer games.
