Access to information and care
Huntsman Spinal Clinic’s website is intended to help people learn about the practice and request information regardless of disability or the technology they use. If a page, form, or video prevents you from getting information, please contact the clinic using the details below. You do not need to explain a diagnosis to report a website problem.
Accessibility standard and current status
The website’s accessibility target is Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. These guidelines address needs that may involve vision, hearing, mobility, speech, learning, and cognition. A target is not a claim that every page or interaction meets every requirement.
This approval version has not completed a comprehensive accessibility evaluation and is not represented as fully conformant. The previous brief statement has been expanded to describe its actual features and known limitations. Technical changes and testing are still needed before a conformance claim can be made.
Features included in the website
- A “Skip to content” link and page landmarks help keyboard and assistive-technology users reach the main content.
- Page headings, descriptive links, and text alternatives for meaningful images provide structure and context.
- Forms use visible labels, identify required fields, group insurance choices, and hide inactive insurance fields from interaction.
- The layout adapts to smaller screens. Browser zoom can enlarge text and controls.
- Keyboard focus indicators help show which link or control is selected.
- Videos open in a dialog with playback controls, a Close button, and Escape-key dismissal.
- Reduced-motion preferences limit animation and scrolling effects.
Known limitations
Most videos currently do not have a separate closed-caption track attached to the player. Complete, reviewed transcripts and descriptions of important visual information are not available for all videos. Text summaries on the pages do not replace complete captions or other required media alternatives.
End-to-end screen-reader testing, a full keyboard review, text and control contrast checks, and a complete zoom and reflow assessment have not yet been completed across all content. Linked third-party documents and websites may also have accessibility barriers.
These limitations need remediation and verification. Offering a telephone or email contact does not, by itself, make inaccessible website content accessible or replace applicable accessibility obligations.

To help the team understand a website issue, include the page address, what you were trying to do, and what prevented you from doing it. If comfortable, include your browser or assistive technology and your preferred way to receive a reply. Do not include medical records or other sensitive health information in the report.
If you need information in another format or communication assistance for a visit, tell the clinic what works for you. Ask staff about arranging an accessible format, a qualified interpreter, or another appropriate aid. The clinic must confirm its assistance arrangements and any required language-access notices before public launch.
Using the site with assistive technology
Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move between links and form controls, Enter or Space to activate controls as appropriate, and Escape to close an open video. Native video controls may vary by browser. Current browsers with JavaScript enabled are needed for the mobile navigation, insurance-field expansion, and video dialog. General written information remains available without those interactive features.
Feedback, review, and civil rights
Accessibility feedback should be routed to the clinic’s designated contact for review and follow-up. If you want to make a formal civil-rights complaint, information about the process is available from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights. You may also review ADA.gov for information about disability rights.
This statement follows the user-focused approach described in the W3C guidance on accessibility statements. It will need updating as the site is tested and known barriers are addressed.
